This dance was written at the Christchurch airport as Anne and I
awaited our flight back to Australia after my October workshop tour.
Sue and Danuta were waiting patiently to wave goodbye to us. To fill in the time
I suggested that wee write a dance… so we did, and it was fun too. I never write steps
without music, but as they say, never is a long long time, and this time I did just that ! S
ee you should never say never ! Mind you it has taken 4 months for me to find a piece
of music to suit the steps. We all wrote 8 steps each, which we did with great fervour as
we wanted to get the dance finished before we had to board, and that turned out to
be in about Ten Minutes. We certainly amused the staff at the airport, they couldn’t
keep their eyes off us. In retrospect, I guess we were lucky not to have been locked up!
Anyhow folks.. I hope you enjoy this easy little dance which is written to an
Alan Jackson song off his new album "Drive"
See you on the Dance floor sometime……….or at the Airport ! ! ! ! ! !
