The Royal American Stroll is an advanced stroll choreographed in honor of the American Royal Bar-B-Que
and Rodeo in Kansas City.  The dance is a true Midwest stroll with key/stop steps and opposing moves.  It is
most definitely designed for advanced dancers or dancers very familiar with the Midwest Stroll Style of
Flow/Pattern Dancing.  Start from side-by-side position
Start the dance from Side-By-Side position- no hand holds for moves 4-5; open/double hand for moves 6-7
no hold, move 9,  side-by-side with logical transitions from 10-end.  Key Steps, in Midwest Strolls denote
a step/foot change, upcoming opposing move, or other specific change in the accepted rules of dance/lead.

Shuffles, Kick Ball Changes
1] 1-8	Left lead, four shuffles forward					                 			 	
2] 9-12	Left lead, Kick Ball-Change, twice - Stomp/Key Step in last count    					
	(Key step for Lady-start Step 13 on same foot)

Vines
3] 13-16	Opposing outside vines (Man left/lady right) Hitch forward on 4th count. (Retain inside hand holds)		
4] 17-20	Opposing inside vines (Man right/Lady left) turniing to face on third count, stomp on 4th.(hold hands)

Step Slides, Stomps, Step, Touch, Step 1/4 Turn, Brush
5] 21-24	M= Left step left into LOD, slide right home, repeat stomping on count 4	
    	W=Right step right into LOD, slide left home, repeat stomping on count 4.
6] 25-26	M=Right step right, left cross touch behind right.		
    	W=Left step left, right cross touch behind left. 
7] 27-28	M=Left step turing 1/4 left, right brush forward.			
    	W=Right step turning 1/4 right, left brush forward.
8] 29-32	M=Right lead, turning vine- turn 1/4 left on counts 1&2, back up on 3 & stomp home on 4 (Key Step)      
    	W=Left lead, turning vine -  turn 1/4 right on counte 1&2, back up on 3 & stomp home on 4. (Key Step)
(Key step for man-start move 9 on same foot) (Now back to side-by-side- position)

Steps Back, Stomp, Step Pivot, Step Stomps
9] 33-36	M= Left lead three steps rear, stomp right foot home			
    	W=Right lead three steps rear, stomp left foot home.
10] 37-38	Both-Right lead, 2 count reversal/step pivot turn to original LOD		
11] 39-40	Both-Right step forward, then left stomp home - Key Step (Man changes step)	
12] 41-44	M= Left lead four steps in place, stomp on fourth - Key Step (Man changes step)	
       	W= Left lead, cross to man's left side in three counts, stomp home on fourth 

Step Hitch, Steps 1/2 Turn, Steps Back, Stomps
13] 45-46	Right lead-step forward, left hitch forward.								
14] 47-48	Left step forward  turning 1/2 left,  right hitch rearward.							
15] 49-52	Right lead, two steps rear, stomp home twice on right foot 						

Steps, Stomps, Pivot, Step, Hitch
16] 53-56	M= Left lead, four steps in place  
	W= Crosses to man's left.						
17] 57-58	Both- stomp home twice on left foot - Key Step (Both change feet)					
18] 59-60	Right lead, two count reversal/step pivot turn to the left to origoinal LOD					
19] 61-62	Both- right step forward, Left hitch forward.
