Description 48 Count Partner Dance, Open side-by-side with arms across shoulders or use a waist hold.
This dance can also be done as a couple routine in semi-closed position.

	PATTERN ONE - VERSE
1-2	Cross-lift left in front of right ankle, Step left forward
3-4	Step right forward beside left, Cross-lift left in front of right ankle
5-6	Step left forward, Step right forward beside left 
7-8	Cross-lift left in front of right ankle, Step left forward
9-10	Step right forward beside left, Step left  forward
11-12	Point right toe diagonally forward to the right

13-14	Cross-lift right in front of left ankle, Step right  forward
15-16	Step left  forward beside right , Cross-lift right  in front of left ankle
17-18	Step right  forward, Step left  forward beside right 
19-20	Cross-lift right  in front of left ankle, Step right  forward
21-22	Step left  forward beside right , Step right  forward
23-24	Point left toe diagonally forward to the left

	PATTERN TWO - CHORUS
1-2	Cross-lift left  in front of right ankle, Step left  forward
3-4	Step right  forward, Step left  forward
5-6	Point right toe diagonally forward to the right
Variation: In steps 2-4 man moves sideward to the right as woman moves 
	sideward left in front of him to his left side
7-8	Cross-lift right  in front of left ankle, Step right  forward
9-10	Step left  forward, Step right  forward
11-12	Point left toe diagonally forward to the left

13-14	Cross-lift left  in front of right ankle, Step left  forward
15-16	Step right  forward, Step left  forward
17-18	Point right toe diagonally forward to the right
Variation: In steps 2-4 man moves sideward to the right as woman moves sideward left in f
	ront of him to his left side
19-20	Cross-lift right in front of left ankle, Step right  forward
21-22	Step left  forward, Step right  forward
23-24	Point left toe diagonally forward to the left

NOTE: 	If the variation described above is danced, during the three steps, woman crosses sideward left in front of man, 
	returning to his right side.

COUPLE POSITION: In this routine, couples alternate semi-closed V position from side to side. They also alternate
	 between facing LOD and RLOD. The following step description is given for the man. footwork is opposite for the lady.

	PATTERN ONE - VERSE
1-2	Man cross-lifts left  in front of right ankle, Man steps left  forward
3-4	Man steps right  forward beside left, Man cross-lifts left  in front of right ankle
5-6	Man steps left  forward, Man steps right  forward beside left 
7-8	Man cross-lifts left  in front of right ankle, Man steps left  forward
	(Couple now turns toward each other while turning to face the opposite direction: RLOD. 
	They loosen the waist-hand hold to permit the turn.)
9-10	Man steps right  (turned toward partner) forward, Man steps left  (heel leading) forward LOD
	(couple is now facing reverse direction)
11-12	Man points right toe forward (RLOD)

13-14	Man cross-lifts right  in front of left ankle, Man steps right  forward
15-16	Man steps left  forward beside right, Man cross-lifts right  in front of left ankle
17-18	Man steps right  forward, Man steps left  forward beside right 
19-20	Man cross-lifts right  in front of left ankle, Man steps right  forward
	(Couple now turns toward each other while turning to face the opposite direction: LOD.
