Note* This dance is based around a classic cha cha pattern called the "Pase'o pattern". I do not know the origin of this section and I cannot take credit for this set of counts. A special thanks to Jo Thompson and A. T. Kinson for bringing the "Pase'o pattern" to my attention and for all their advice and encouragement.

  STEP, FULL TURN RONDE, BEHIND SIDE CROSS, SIDE ROCK 1/4 TURN, CHA CHA FORWARD
1 Step forward on Left foot, full weight on Left
2-3 Pivot full turn (360°) on Left, sweeping Right leg clockwise and behind Left
4 Step Right foot behind Left & Step Left to Left side
5 Step Right across and in front of Left
6 Rock to Left side with Left foot & Turn Right knee in, weight still on Left
7 Turn 1/4 turn to Right transferring weight onto Right leg
8 Step forward with Left foot & Lock Right behind Left
9 Step forward with Left
  PASE'O PATTERN FWD BREAK, 1/4 TURNING CHASSE, WEAVE, 1/4 TURN, BACK LOCK STEP
10-11 Rock forward on Right, Recover onto Left
12&13 Turn 1/4 Right, chasse side, together, side
14 Step Left across in front of Right (angling body to Right)
15 1/4 turn Left, stepping back with Right 16&17 Step back with Left, lock Right across Left, step back Left
  POINT, FLICK, FORWARD TRIPLE, 360° SPIRAL TO RIGHT, RIGHT STEP BALL TURN
&18 Step back with Right, Point Left toe forward, angling body to Right
19 Step Left next to Right, flick Right foot up at rear Right diagonal with bent knee, squaring the body up
21&21 Step Right forward, Lock Left behind Right, Step forward with Right
22-23 Step forward on Left, Spiral full turn to Right full weight on Left
24-25 Fall forward onto Right & Step forward onto Left, Pivot 1/2 turn to Right
*Note on completion of the pivot toe out to the Right, to prepare for the next sequence
  FORWARD CROSS BREAK, SIDE MAMBOS RIGHT AND LEFT, HOLD AND CLAP
26-27 Cross rock Left across and in front Right, Recover onto Right
28&29 Rock Left to Left side, Step in place onto Right, Step Left next to Right, taking weight on Left
30&31 Rock Right to Right side, Step in place onto Left , Step Right next to Left, taking weight on Right
32 Hold and clap
