Mid-County Shuffle

Description 32 counts, beginner level. Partner dance performed in a circle, 
with the traditional CCW floor movement.
Music On the Road / Midnight Train / Diamond Mine / Rip off the Knob, 
High Horse - Nitty Gritty Dirt Band 
or similar paced bluegrass/mountain music.

Choreographed for the Mid-County Community Center.


	Standard steps for gentleman and lady are identical.
1-4 	Right combination hook
5-6 	Touch left heel forward 12 o'clock (lean back, bend right knee a little), left home 
7-8	right toe in back of left at 6 o'clock (lean forward, bend left knee a little) right home
9-12 	Step forward left (**pivot turn 1/2 right), change weight to right, repeat turn
13-14 	Stomp left twice, 
15&16	Shuffle forward left, right, left
17&18 	Shuffle forward Right, left, right 
19&20	Shuffle forward left, right, left, 
21&22	Shuffle forward	Right, left, right 
23&24	Shuffle forward	Left, right, left (optional turn on suffles)

25-26 	Forward stroll (step forward diagonally right to 1:30 o'clock), lock left behind right, 
27-28	Step forward (diagonally again) scuff left
29-30	Forward stroll left step forward (diagonally left to 10:30 o'clock), diagonally rock right behind left, 
31-32	Step forward diagonally again, stomp right next to left 
	Begin again.
