Little Shoes Boogie

Description 	Circle-Mixer, Men face out, Ladies face in. 
Music 		Sweet Little Shoes - Dan Seals. (Start when Dan starts singing, beat 17, 
 		and you will "show off' your new little shoes when he says the words. 
Note: 		The Half Moon Turns take some getting used to, but with practice you can do them 
 		without touching down the toe. It feels like your foot is doing a corkscrew, neat!  

 	LEFT HALF MOON TURN -- Left Touch, Sweep-turn Left Right Kick 
1-2 	With weight on Right, touch toe of left forward, Sweep Left to left, turning 180 degrees on ball of
 	Right, keep in the air for the corkscrew effect. While learning keep your balance, you can touch  Left toe next to R
3-4 	Step forward on Left, Kick with Right  

 	RIGHT HALF MOON TURN -- Right Touch, Sweep-Turn, Right, Left Kick 
1-2 	With weight on Left, touch toe of Right forward, Sweep Right to right, turning 1/2 turn on ball of Left
 	keep foot in the air for the corkscrew effect 
3-4 	Step forward on Right, Kick with Left  

 	REVERSE ROLLING GRAPEVINE -- Left Step-Turn, Turn, Turn, Scoot 
1-2 	Step Left to left, starting clockwise turn on ball of foot think of rotating the Left clockwise as
 	you step down, the body will follow. Step on ball of Right, continue clockwise turn 
3-4 	Step on ball of Left, finishing turn, facing the way you started, Scoot forward on ball of Left,  bringing Right knee up. , 
 	Reverse Rolling Grapevine: This is 4 count move. From the position you faced when you started the dance, the 
   direction of the entire move is to your left If this make you dizzy, its OK to do a plain left grapevine Left, behind, Left, scoot.  

 	RIGHT STEP, SCOOT, BACK, SLAP 
1-2 	Step forward on Right, Scoot on ball of Right, bringing Left knee Up, clap Hands with partner 
3-4 	Step back on Left, Lift right little shoe behind Left knee, slap heel with Left hand  

 	RIGHT, PAUSE, TOUCH, PAUSE (Boogies & Shimmies)** 
1&2 	Step Right to right, bend knees; Pause 
3&4 	Touch Left next to Right; Pause  
 	LEFT, PAUSE, TOUCH, PAUSE (Boogies & Shimmies)** 
1&2 	Step Left to left, bend knees; Pause 
3&4 	Touch Right next to Left; Pause 
 	**Boogie. This is an 8 count hip-hip movement. 
1-4 	Four Hip hips to the right while stepping right, pause, touch, pause 
5-8 	Four hip hips to the left while stepping left, pause, touch, pause 
 	**Shimmies 
Ladies Option: -- -- For you bold and fun dancers,, 8 count, alternate shoulders forward and back as you Step right, pause, touch, pause, and left,
 pause, touch, pause. Guys could do it too, but generally they don't have enough - uh ! shoulders 
 
 	RIGHT KICK BALL CHANGE RIGHT KICK, HOOK TURN 
1&2 	Kick Right to front; step down on ball of Right; change weight to Left 
3-4 	Kick Rt to front, Hook right in front of Lt knee while turning 1/4 turn to the right, with weight on ball of Left 
 

 	SHUFFLE RIGHT, SHUFFLE LEFT 
1&2 	Shuffle forward Right, Left, Right 
3&4 	Shuffle forward Left, Right, Left  

 	RIGHT TOUCH LEFT PIVOT, STOMP, STOMP 
1-2 	Touch forward with Right, Pivot 1/4 turn to the left on ball of Left 
3-4 	Stomp Right next to Left ( weight stays on left), Stomp Right next to Left ( weight stays on left )  

 	RIGHT TOUCH, LEFT PIVOT, RIGHT TOUCH, LEFT PIVOT 
1-2 	Touch forward with Right, Pivot 1/2 turn to left on Left 
3-4 	Touch forward with Right , Pivot 1/2 turn to left on ball  

 	SHOW, SHOW, RIGHT BACK, SLAP 
1-2 	"Show" new little shoe by lifting Right in front of Left knee, present forward, Show new little shoe 
 	Ladies'Styling.. Lift skirt to "show off" shoes / boots 
3-4 	Step Right back, Lift Left new little shoe behind Right knee, slap heel with Right hand 

 	LEFT KICK, BALL CHANGE X 2, 
1&2 	Kick Left forward; Step down on left, change weight 
3&4 	Kick Left forward; Step down on left, change weight
