Description Intermediate Partner Dance Start In Sweetheart position (side by side),
the partners face LOD. The steps are the same except if indicated.
Music I Love You Goodbye - Midland - Intro: 16 counts.
1-8 M: CROSS ROCK STEP, TRIPLE STEP, CROSS ROCK STEP, TRIPLE STEP
L: CROSS ROCK STEP, TRIPLE STEP, CROSS ROCK STEP, TRIPLE STEP in FULL TURN L
1-2 Cross rock step R over L, recover on L
3&4 Triple step R,L,R in place
5-6 Cross rock step L over R, recover on R
7&8 M: Triple step L,R,L in place -L: Triple step L,R,L in full turn to left (RLOD)
*** On count 7 release L hands and raise R hands over the lady’s head.
On counts 7&8 lady do a full turn to left, she’s now on the man left side and place her L hand on her L waist.
On count 8 the man take the L lady’s hand with his L hand.
9-16 M: STEP, PIVOT 1/4 TURN L, TRIPLE STEP in 1/4 TURN L, ROCK BACK, TRIPLE STEP
L STEP, PIVOT 1/2 TURN L, SHUFFLE BACK in 1/2 TURN L, ROCK BACK, SHUFFLE FWD
1-2 M: Sep R forward, pivot 1/4 turn to left (face ILOD) -
L: Step R forward, pivot 1/2 turn to left (RLOD)
On count 1 without releasing hands, man raise both R hands over the lady’s head.
*** The partners are now in Double Hand Cross position, both R hands are on top.
3&4 M: Triple step R,L,R in place in 1/4 turn to left (RLOD)
L: Shuffle back R,L,R in 1/2 turn to left (LOD)
5-6 Rock back on L, recover on R
7&8 M: Triple step L,R,L in place -- L: Shuffle forward L,R,L side by side.
17-24 M: 1/4 TURN R STEP in PLACE, 1/4 TURN R STEP FWD, SHUFFLE FWD, 2X WALK, SHUFFLE FWD
L: 1/2 TURN L and STEP BACK, STEP BACK, SHUFFLE BACK, 1/2 TURN L and STEP FWD, 1/2 TURN L and
STEP BACK, SHUFFLE FWD in 1/2 TURN L
1-2 M: 1/4 turn to right and step R to right side, 1/4 turn to right and step L forward (LOD)
L: 1/2 turn to left and step back on R, step L back (RLOD)
*** Without releasing hands, the man raise all 4 hands over the lady’s head.
On count 2 lower hands to form a window (Window’s position).
3&4 M: Shuffle forward R,L,R -- L: Shuffle back R,L,R
5-6 M: Walk forward R,L -- L: 1/2 turn to left and step forward on L, 1/2 turn to left and step back on R
*** On count 5 the man release the lady’s L hand. –
On count 6 the man raise both R hands over the lady’s head.
7&8 M: Shuffle forward R,L,R - L: Shuffle forward L,R,L in 1/2 turn to left (face LOD)
The partners are now in Reverse Sweetheart position face LOD.
25-32 M:2X WALK FWD, MAMBO FWD, ROCK BACK, TRIPLE STEP
L:2 WALK FWD, 1/2 TURN L and SHUFFLE BACK, ROCK BACK, TRIPLE STEP in 1/2 TURN R
1-2 Walk R,L forward
3&4 M: Rock step on R, recover on L, step R together L
L: 1/2 turn to left and shuffle back on R,L,R (RLOD)
5-6 Rock back on L, recover on R
*** On count 5 without releasing hands, the man raise both R hands over the lady’s head.
You are now in Double Hand Cross position, R hands on top.
7&8 M: Triple step L,R,L in place -- L: Triple step L,R,L in 1/2 turn to right (LOD)
*** On count 7 without releasing hands, the man raise both R hands over the lady’s head.
You are now in Sweetheart position face LOD.
33-40 2X (CROSS, TOUCH), SHUFFLE FWD DIAGONALY TO L, SHUFFLE FWD DIAGONALY TO R
1-2 Cross step R behind L, point L to left side
3-4 Cross step L behind R, point R to right side
5&6 Shuffle forward R,L,R diagonally to left
7&8 Shuffle forward L,R,L diagonally to right
41-48 M: 1/4 TURN L and SIDE, CROSS, CHASSÉ to R, 1/4 TURN R and 2X WALK FWD, SHUFFLE FWD
L: 1/4 TURN L and SIDE, CROSS, CHASSÉ to R, 3/4 TURN R and STEP BACK, 1/2 TURN R
and STEP FWD, SHUFFLE FWD
1-2 1/4 turn to left and step R to right side, cross step L behind R (ILOD)
*** On count 1 release both L hands and raise R hands over the lady’s head.
On count 2 take both L hands on man’s back at waist level.
3&4 Chassé R,L,R to right side
5-6 M: 1/4 turn to right and step forward on L, step R forward (LOD)
L: 3/4 turn to right and step back on L, 1/2 turn to right and step forward on R (LOD)
*** On count 5 release both L hands and raise both R hands over the lady’s head.
On count 6 return in Sweetheart position.
7&8 Shuffle forward L,R,L
Restart: At the 5th repetition do the first 32 counts and restart from the beginning.
