It's a beautiful song by Dave Sherrif and one which I can relate to very much.
As I go around the countryside doing my workshops I meet up with some really wonderful people (all line dancers are pretty special people!) and over the years I have made some very close friends. Unfortunately, I don't get to see them too often, owing to the vast distance between our localities - and this song says it all. I dedicate this dance to "friends" all over the world..... and especially
to Grace, Cecil, Ronald, Margaret and Rashid who went out of
their way to make our Singapore trip a special one.
Let's hope that things will stabilise on the world front and allow 'friends'
to meet up again on the dance floor real soon. See you then..... Jan
