This pattern of 8 is written in basic line dance form. The styling should be as follows The Ball change on counts "&2" is done outside shoulder width with left leg extended a rock or push step. The right leg [support leg] is bent. The Weight stays centred over the hips. The right cross touch on counts "&3" have a similar feel. Bend both knees on the right cross,. On count 3, the left leg [support leg] is bent, and the right leg and toe are extended to the right. Think of balancing a book on your head under a low ceiling,. Stay Low and do not bounce with the ball changes 1&2&3, hold 4 R step cross on forward diagonal over left, Left step to Left onto ball of Left; Right step slightly back; Left cross on forward diagonal over right; Right touch to side; Hold 5&6&7,hold 8 Repeat 1 - 4RIGHT CROSS BALL CHANGE, CROSS TOUCH HOLD (moving slightly forward)
WALK, WALK 1/4 TURN LEFT, CROSS1-4 R step fwd; L step fwd; Lift R to knee and make a 1/4 turn left on hall of L; R step cross over L
SYNCOPATED VINE, STEP SIDE, 1/2 TURN RIGHT, LIFT, CROSS, TOUCH, CROSS5-6&7-8 Left step to left, R step cross behind L; L step to left. R step cross over left; L (small) step left (Ct 8 is done by stepping down with bent knee in preparation for the 1/2 turn on the next 2 counts) 1-2 1/2 turn right on ball of left (lifting right knee & placing right foot beside knee) This 2 step turn is done in releve to give the feeing of being "Suspended" in air) &3-4 Right step slightly back; Left cross over right ("&3"gives the feeling of a lowering action after the turn in Releve: Right Touch to right 5-6 Right touch cross over left; 1/2 turn left (unwind), shifting wt. to right 7&8 Left step back; Right step beside left; Left step forward
WALK. HOLD, WALK, HOLD, STEP. STEP. STEP, STEP1-4 Right step forward (slight stomp); Hold; Left step forward (slight stomp); Hold 5-8 Right step slightly back; Left step slightly back; Right step slightly back; Left step slightly back (the last 4 steps should be done with hip action) Begin Again
