A Rumba is the type of music that most country dancers
doing the Cha Cha to.
I Want To Dance With You" - George Strait is a good example.
Even though we
think of it as a cha cha it is technically a rumba due to the
speed and lack of brass
and percussive instruments.
Most all of your country ballads today would actually pass as a
Rumba.
American style rumba, Tango and Bolero are all counted with words
instead of
numbers to make it easier to keep track of long strings of
choreography
