JOE'S COWBOY PROMENADE

This is a 52 count dance and is danced in the foremost middle of the dance floor. You need
six couples or more. This is a good mixer dance and is easily learned. I teach it to the winter
Texans in South Texas, and we have lots of fun on the dance floor with it.
This is dedicated to my mom who loves to dance (+78 yrs. young) and my dance instructors
who started me out.
Description  Couples dance, danced in a circle/middle of floor. Sweetheart
position, side by side, or promenade position. Both Man and Lady
start with Left foot.

1 - 2 Step Left forward; Step Right forward progressing forward line of dance
3 - 4 Step Left forward; Brush Right beside Left
5 - 6 Step Right forward; Step Left forward
7 - 8 Step Right forward; Brush Left beside Right
Vine Left, Vine Right
1 - 2 Step Left to the left; Step Right behind Left
3 - 4 Step Left to the left; Brush Right beside Left
5 - 6 Step Right to the right; Step Left behind Right
7 - 8 Step Right to the right; Brush Left beside Right

Man slows forward movement and turns Lady in a 360 degree CW turn, with lady and man
progressing forward

Man in place, Bring Lady across to face Man on @ left side with a clockwise 180 degree
turn - don't let go of hands

Man in place, Bring Lady back across to face Man on right side with a CCW 360 degree turn
1 - 2 Step Right; Step Left
3 - 4 Step Right; Brush Left beside Right
4 Counts
Lady turns CCW 180 degrees in place 3 counts and stomps on 4th count. Man progresses
forward 4 counts and picks up the next Lady and stomps Right on 4th count. This ends the
dance.
